Do you want to change the background of your Safari browser on your iPhone (iOS 15)? If yes then here in this post, I’ll show you how to change Safari background on iPhone & iPad (iOS 15). However, many iOS users would really like to know how to customize Apple’s default web browser with some flair and style. Apple adds a few background wallpapers by default; however, you can also choose an image from your iPhone Library to set a custom Safari background.

Keep in mind that in order to change the background wallpaper in Safari on iPhone or iPad the device must be upgraded to iOS 15 or later.

  • Open the Safari browser on your iPhone, and create a new tab.
  • And tap on the Edit option at the bottom of the screen.
  • As the  Customise Start Page shows up simply turn on Background Image.
  • Then you can choose from preset wallpaper, to set a wallpaper to your Safari browser background.

  • Go to the Safari browser create a new tab.
  • Tap on the Edit icon at the bottom of the screen.
  • As the  Customise Start Page shows up simply tap on the + icon to set your own Safari background from your Photos.

  • Go to the Safari browser create a new tab.
  • Tap on the Edit icon at the bottom of the screen.
  • Now as the  Customise Start Page shows up simply turn OFF Background Image.

Safari has an entirely new look with iOS 15. Controls have been moved to the bottom of the screen to make them more accessible with one hand.

A new, compact tab bar floats at the bottom of the screen and incorporates a Smart Search field, allowing users to simply swipe between tabs. Users can save their tabs in a folder and sync them across their iPhone, iPad, and Mac with Tab Groups. In addition, a new tab overview grid view has been included.

Users may now refresh a web page by just pulling it down, and voice search is also supported. For the first time, Safari gets a configurable start page and mobile web extensions.

New privacy safeguards in Safari in iOS 15 include Intelligent Tracking Prevention, which stops trackers from profiling you based on your IP address, and Safari will automatically upgrade sites that support HTTPS from insecure HTTP.
