Method #2: Find Wi-Fi Password using CMD (Command Prompt)

Using Control Panel, you can only get the Wi-Fi password for the network to which you’re now connected. To access your current password or any stored Wi-Fi networks on Windows 11, you’ll need to use Command Prompt.

Step 1. Open CMD as an administrator. Click the search icon next to the Start menu and then search for CMD.

Method #3: Locate Wi-Fi Password via PowerShell/Windows Terminal

Another way to see your current Wi-Fi password in Windows 11 is using PowerShell.

Step 1. Open Windows PowerShell or Windows Terminal as an administrator.

Step 2. Type the following command to check the Wi-Fi password for a particular network. Replace Wi-Fi NAME with your network name and press enter.
