How to Screen Mirror Samsung Galaxy to Windows 10 PC/Laptop

Andrew Clark November 9, 2020

In this feature, I will guide you on how to cast or screen mirror your Samsung Galaxy smartphone to your Windows 10 PC without using any third-party software or apps. There’s a built-in screen mirroring feature in some Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Bear mind that not all Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets are equipped with screen mirroring feature.

In addition, Screen Mirroring does not provide capabilities for older Samsung smartphones and operating systems older than Android 4.1.12. In the menu feature, certain newer models will have Smart View instead of Screen Mirror. But newer Samsung Galaxy devices including Note 10 Series, S10 Series, Note 9 Series, S9 Series, and some others have a dedicated screen mirroring feature called “Smart View” where you can conveniently mirror your Samsung Galaxy to your Windows 10 PC.

Meanwhile, after Windows launched the Windows 10 OS Anniversary Edition/Update, the feature that allows a Windows 10 PC to be used as a wireless receiver for users who want to project a third party screen on their PC (Windows Phone, Android, or Windows tablet) is one especially exciting feature that has a lot of hype.

While you can move your phone’s screen to a much larger display in many respects, this Windows 10 feature allows you to enjoy your Android content to your PC without any third-party apps or phones. Nevertheless, apps from third parties are equally effective. So with the help of Smart View in Samsung smartphones and project features in Windows 10, you can screen mirror Samsung phones to Windows 10 effortlessly using any additional software or applications.

What is the Screen Mirroring?

.Screen mirroring program helps you to wirelessly move the video that plays on your smaller Android, Windows, or Apple computer to a larger one, such as a TV or media projector. Personal images, songs, videos, apps, and more can be replicated, like Internet content or an app like Netflix or YouTube.
