How to Access and Set RAM Plus on Samsung Galaxy Phones

Are you looking forward to enabling and setting the RAM Plus (virtual RAM) on your Galaxy phones? In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to access and set RAM Plus on a Samsung Galaxy phone.

Meanwhile, Samsung introduced the RAM Plus feature on eligible Galaxy devices running on One UI 4.0 based on Android 12. However, with the introduction of One UI 4.1, now you can set or extend the RAM PLus from 4GB to 6GB or even more than that.

What is Virtual RAM?

Virtual RAM is a technology that uses software to generate a tiny fraction of the storage memory required to support RAM or memory. To begin, the 6GB RAM memory module is significantly quicker than the 128GB storage module. The RAM or memory of the gadget aids in the completion of tasks, although it is volatile. The objective of storage, on the other hand, is to keep data stored.

So, just because a company offers 4GB of virtual memory doesn’t imply your phone’s actual RAM, which determines how quickly apps run on your phone, has been enhanced. In truth, virtual RAM will not provide any significant speed boost. On paper, it appears like you are receiving 6GB of RAM plus 4GB of virtual RAM, which is intended to make your phone far quicker than others. But, in fact, virtual RAM serves a different purpose. To clarify, a phone with 8GB RAM will be more efficient and faster than a smartphone with 6GB RAM plus 4GB of virtual RAM.

So, here are the steps to access and set or extend the RAM Plus on Samsung phones:
