How to Enable Windows 11 Mobile Hotspot

1) Enable Windows 11 Mobile Hotspot

When Windows 11 is launched to the general public, it will include a slew of new features and enhancements that will appeal to some while posing issues to others. People will have to learn new ways to interact with and manage Windows 11 because some things and settings have changed so dramatically.

The ability to share a mobile network and create a hotspot via other interfaces is a heritage function that is also included in Windows 11. This configuration allows other devices to connect to your laptop’s Internet without requiring a separate network, and it even works with a wired network.

To turn your PC into a hotspot, there are a few freeware and premium software available on the internet. However, if you’re using Windows 11, you won’t need to download any software to use the Wi-Fi hotspot feature. To enable Wi-Fi hotspot on your Windows 11 PC/laptop, Follow these step below.

Step 1. Press Windows + I key to open the Settings.

Step 2. Select Network & internet from left side pane and click Mobile hotspot.

Step 3. Here, enable Mobile hotspot.

2) Configure Mobile Hotspot

  • Click the drop-down menu next to Share over and choose either Wi-fi or Bluetooth.

  • Enable Power saving. When the Power saving mode is on then the Mobile hotspot will turn off automatically if there’s no device is connected.

  • Click the drop-down menu next to the Properties to edit the name and password. Select Edit, type the Network name and Network password. When done, Click Save.

  • Finally, you’ve made your Windows 11 PC into a mobile hotspot.

3) Connect to Mobile Hotspot

To connect on the other device, go to the Wi-Fi settings on that device, find your network name, select it, enter the password, and then connect.

4) Disable Mobile Hotspot
  • Press Windows key + A to open Action center.
  • Here, you can disable Mobile hotspot.
