By default the Trash or Recycle bin feature is disabled and you have to enable it manually.
Gallery
- Open the Gallery app.
- Tap on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner.
- Tap on Trash. Then select Turn on Trash.
My Files
- Open My Files app.
- Tap on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner.
- Tap on Trash. Then select Turn on Trash.
Contacts
- Open the Contacts app.
- Tap the three horizontal lines or hamburger menu and select Trash.
- Select Turn on Trash.
Voice Recorder
- Open Voice Recorder app.
- Tap on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner.
- Tap on Trash. Then select Turn on Trash.
Samsung Notes
- Open Samsung Notes.
- Tap the three horizontal lines or hamburger menu and select Trash.
You can also disable the Trash or Recycle:
- Simply open any Samsung app like Gallery or My Files app.
- Tap on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner and select Settings.
- Turn off Trash.
