If you’re using Galaxy A series like A21, A, A71, and some others then you can easily add a watermark to the photos which you capture on your Samsung Galaxy phone. In this guide, you’ll learn how to enable a watermark for Samsung Camera. Meanwhile, we’ll also show you how to manually add a watermark to your photos on the S series.

In the meantime, except for the Samsung Galaxy S and Note models, almost all premium Android phones include an automatic function that adds a watermark to every photo you snap. It looks that Samsung has purposefully concealed the ability to add a watermark on images.

What is Watermark?

Watermarking is the technique of superimposing a logo or piece of text on top of a document or picture file, and it’s critical for both copyright protection and digital work promotion.

Let’s look at some of the reasons why watermarking photographs and documents is vital, as well as how to make an effective watermark for your work.

While most watermarking nowadays is done digitally, the phrase “watermarking” has been around for millennia. A watermark was traditionally only visible when the paper was held up to the light or while it was wet, and watermarking was done when the paper was wet—hence the word we still use today.

The Galaxy A series now has a new handy function called Watermark settings. You’ll be able to see the Watermark in the bottom left of your newly shot photo once you’ve activated this feature.

Note: This option is not accessible on the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series of phones. If you have a Galaxy S or Note handset, you may also use stickers to personalize your images.

So, here’s how to enable and customize watermark on Samsung Galaxy A series Camera:

Step 1. Open the Camera app on your Galaxy phone and then tap the gear or Settings icon at the top left-hand corner.

Open Camera

Step 2. Scroll down to the bottom and then enable Watermark.

Step 3. To customize it, tap the Watermark text itself. You may put whatever message you wish as a watermark… It might be your given name, a nickname, a brand, a slogan, or something else entirely. You may even use emojis if you like. In my case, it would be Shot with my Galaxy A21s.

Step 4. Now, whenever you capture a photo a watermark will appear at the bottom left-hand corner. As you can see in the screenshot below.
