Andrew Clark November 6, 2021

Have you been having issues with your Samsung smartphone’s touch screen? Are you looking for a simple way to check for dead spots on your screen or confirm that some sections of the screen are actually unresponsive? If you’re having this problem then don’t worry! In this post, you’ll earn 2 different ways to test the Samsung Galaxy touchscreen.

Method 1. Test Touchscreen of Samsung Galaxy via Code (*#0*#)

The first way is by far the simplest for testing your Samsung Galaxy phone’s touchscreen. It’s really simple and uncomplicated to utilize a secret code command. Simply open your phone’s dial pad, input the secret code, and you’ll be directed to a new page where you may test the Speaker, Camera, Sensor, Touch, and other features.

Step 1. Open the Phone app on your Galaxy phone and then navigate to the Keypad section. Here enter *#0*#.

Step 2. A test page will now be displayed to you. Select the feature for which you want to run a test. To test the sensitivity of the touch screen, press the Touch button.

Step 3. Slide your finger across the little grid boxes now. The grid boxes will become green after the touch has been detected. The gadget has passed the touch test when all of the grid boxes have gone green, and it will return to the test page.

Samsung Members is a convenient and helpful software that comes pre-installed on most newer Galaxy handsets (S9, S10, S20, Note 8, Note 9, Note 10 &, etc). If you can’t locate the app on your phone, you can get it from the Google Play Store or the Samsung Galaxy Store.

Meanwhile, Samsung Members is a growing global network of Galaxy experts who provide support, comments, and analysis. It provides resources ranging from Galaxy-related recommendations to troubleshooting in a single easy-to-use software, as well as access to a plethora of information, tips, and the most recent product news.

Step 1. Open the Samsung Members app. If you don’t have this app download it here.

Step 2. Tap Get help and select Start.

Step 3. Tap Touch screen.

Step 4. Now, swipe across squares until they’ve all changed colors.
